PCG Victorian Modular Building Generator

For my latest project, I explored the PCG framework in Unreal Engine. I developed a modular building generator that enables me to construct houses systematically and efficiently. I acquired the necessary knowledge by taking a Udemy course taught by Brandon Vox. I then used this system as a foundation and further developed it to fit my own requirements.

I fully modelled and textured the showcased asset library myself, and then integrated it into Unreal Engine as well as into the generator.

My next project will build upon this system. The aim is to generate a street section with multiple buildings that creates structural layouts and conveys a narrative through its architecture and spatial arrangement.

This project has confirmed my professional goal of working as a technical/environment artist. It has strengthened my interest in tool development, procedural systems and the connection between technical workflows and visual design. I am motivated to continue improving my skills in this area and to further deepen my expertise in procedural environment creation.
